I should have posted this last week already, but work’s been crazy!

I had to rush home last Tuesday to be on time for my partner’s ex-boss to deliver some documents to finalise our new home’s purchase. Got there with 20 minutes to spare. Our best friends called and asked if they could drop by for coffee. They show up, ex-boss still isn’t there… He’s now running late I assume. Went outside for a cigarette, and somebody puts their arms around me from behind… It’s my partner! I think I hugged him for 5 minutes without letting go.

It seems they had been planning this for 3 weeks and nobody let anything slip. Made my week!
